Founded in 1956 by nurseryman Donald Sims, Rolling Hills Nursery quickly established itself as a friendly and reliable grower and supplier in both the wholesale trade industry and the retail sales, design, and installation community. The nursery has long provided trees, shrubs, and evergreens to contractors and homeowners throughout Northern Illinois.

With nearly 100 acres of nursery farmland in Harvard, IL, Rolling Hills supplies its plant material not only to its Lincolnshire, IL sales center, but also to regions across the United States.


Following his passing in 1994, Mr. Sims’s wife, Evangeline, and their son, Bill, carried on his legacy—continuing the craftsmanship and service that made Rolling Hills Nursery a trusted name in the communities of Northern Illinois.


Today, we continue to use our knowledge and experience to build long-lasting relationships with our customers—just as we have for many years. We were proud to celebrate 60 years in business in 2016, and we remain deeply grateful for our community of clients.
